We respect the privacy of visitors to our website. We ensure that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. Processing of personal data is done in a manner that is in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We use the cloud service Microsoft Azure for various parts of our services. Although this is a third party, we own the data that is stored and it is not used by Microsoft Azure for their own purposes.
Purposes of the data processing
Your personal data will be used by us for compiling lists of names, instruction statements and drawing up appointment decisions.
If you send us an e-mail or fill in a contact or registration form on the website, the data you send us will be kept for as long as it is required for the complete answering and handling of the form or the content of your email. Personal data is also stored in the database as described in the Regeling Verkeersregelaars 2009 version 1-7-2020.
Sharing personal data with third parties
SVNL shares your personal data with municipalities to comply with a legal obligation. In addition, SVNL provides your personal data to other parties. This concerns municipalities, police and organizers because they must be able to view information about the appointment. We only do this with your explicit permission.
Newsletter
We offer a newsletter with which we want to inform you about news of our services and related matters. You can sign up for this in the email you receive after registration or via the settings in your account. Your email address will be used automatically without access by our employees. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe.

We use cookies. This is a small file that is sent along with a page from this website. The file will be stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies to save your settings and preferences. You can disable these cookies via your browser.
Click behavior and visit data
General visitor data is kept in order to gain insight into the use of the website and, for example, which browsers and devices are frequently used. With this information we can improve our service .To respect the privacy of visitors, we use Matomo:
- Data remains in our own management and has the sole purpose of analyzing the visitor data.
- Clicking behavior is only registered on our own website and not elsewhere.
- The IP address is completely anonymized and made invisible.
- Matomo respects the DoNotTrack setting you may have activated in the browser. Your visit will then not be registered.
Cookies for diagnostic data
In order to detect and solve technical problems on the website, Application Insights from Microsoft Azure is used. For this purpose, anonymized visitor data is registered without personal data such as IP-address or e-mail address. The data is automatically deleted after 31 days.
Thanks to the use of privacy-friendly services, no cookie detectors are needed on our website.
Access, correction and right to object
If you have an account for our services, you can request an overview that shows which information about you is known to us. If it contains inaccuracies, you can change your details through your account settings. You can also request that we delete your data.
