Requirements for an application

Applications by a municipality

In order as a municipality to apply for a professional traffic controller, you must submit a number of documents via Aanstellingspas.nl. The required documents differ per type of application. Below we explain the different requirements for you.

New pass

You will need the following regarding the traffic controller you are requesting for:

  • 9-digit validation code
    The certificate may not be older than six months on the day of application. If this is not the case, the traffic controller must take another exam.
  • Passport photograph

The Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag must be checked by the municipality itself, but does not need to be uploaded during the application. The municipality itself gives a municipal appointment as road manager. In this case, SVNL only facilitates the Aanstellingspas.

Renew an existing pass

If you wish to renew the Aanstellingspas immediately, the municipality must check the Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag itself. This does not need to be uploaded during the application. The municipality itself gives a municipal appointment as road manager. In this case, SVNL only facilitates the Aanstellingspas.
