E-instruction

To perform duties as an event traffic controller, you must successfully complete the e-instruction. After passing the e-instruction, you will receive an instruction certificate that is valid for 1 year. With a valid instruction certificate, you are authorized to perform traffic control duties at events throughout the Netherlands.

• The e-instruction is available via verkeersregelaarsexamen.nl. An account is not required to complete the e-instruction. However, to save, download, or later access your instruction certificate, you must create an account or log in.
• After successfully completing the e-instruction, you can view and download your instruction certificate from your dashboard.
• Your instruction certificate is valid for 1 year from the date of completion.
• You may retake the e-instruction at any time. After successfully completing it again, the validity of your instruction certificate will be extended by 1 year from the new completion date.
• Organizations can invite you to participate as an event traffic controller for a specific event. You will receive an invitation containing the event details, which you can either accept or decline.
• The instruction certificate is valid in all municipalities. You are appointed as an event traffic controller for each event and municipality separately.
• If your instruction certificate is valid on the first day of a multi-day event, it remains valid for all consecutive days of that event.
